VP Operations

Jane Opgaard joined Avista TX in May to head Operations, bringing with her 20+ years of experience in start-up world operations management. Her prior role was as Sr. Director Procurement and Operations for BlueSphere Bio, a UPMC Enterprises portfolio company, working on personalized cancer therapies. Jane is an experienced project manager — she most recently led a 16,000 sq ft lab/office expansion for BlueSphere Bio. She has an MBA from University of Washington, Seattle.
