Senior Machine Learning Scientist

Emre Sevgen is a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Avista Therapeutics. He then earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Engineering from the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering, where he developed new machine learning-based enhanced sampling methods for molecular dynamics with Prof. Juan de Pablo and Prof. Jeffrey Hubbell. He’s since worked on developing machine learning techniques for applications in various engineering disciplines, from materials optimization at Citrine Informatics to protein engineering at Evozyne.
